Beauty Therapy Course

Aims and objectives

The Beauty Therapy program is an advanced course for aesthetics and beauty therapy professionals who want to become DHA licensed to be eligible to work in the UAE. The 1-year DHA regulated program is offered with an approved fast-track option of 8-months and encompasses 3 separate CIBTAC accredited vocational qualifications to equate to the 800 hour education requirement needed to apply for a DHA licence. Content  

This comprehensive program is designed to provide aspiring beauty professionals with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in the dynamic field of beauty therapy. Learners will embark on a rewarding journey in the world of beauty, wellness, and client care. Program includes the following 3 international qualifications:

Level 3 Certificate in Anatomy, Physiology & Pathology
The Level 3 Certificate in Anatomy, Physiology & Pathology course provides an in-depth understanding of the human body’s structure and functions, as well as common pathological conditions. This course is essential for beauty therapists who want to deliver safe and effective treatments by understanding the underlying physiological processes of the body.

Level 2 Certificate in Facial Skincare
The Level 2 Certificate in Facial Skincare course focuses on essential facial skincare techniques. Gain practical skills in cleansing, toning, exfoliation, mask application, and massage techniques. Learn how to analyze different skin types and conditions, and develop customized skincare routines for clients.

Level 3 Certificate in Electrotherapy
The Level 3 Certificate in Electrotherapy course delves into the advanced field of electrotherapy in beauty therapy. Learn how to use electrical equipment and technologies to enhance beauty treatments. Explore techniques such as galvanic, high-frequency, microcurrent, and faradic treatments for various skin and body conditions.

Course Delivery
In-class attendance for practical and theory learning is mandatory and required. Students are also assigned theory based learning (case studies, homework and assignments) to be completed remotely.

Our Learners are exempt from the mandatory six months internship requirement, which means once you graduate you can apply for the DHA license as a beauty therapist immediately.

Requirements to Enroll
If you are interested, a deposit is required to secure your place. All fees are payable in advance of the start of all courses, and payment plans with post-dated cheques are available.

Who can attend the course

Learners should either be working in or aspiring to join the Beauty Industry if possible.

For the Level 3 Certificate in Anatomy, Physiology & Pathology and the Level 3 Certificate in Electrotherapy, it is recommended that students have prior beauty therapy knowledge or hold relevant Level 2 qualifications. However, the Level 2 Certificate in Facial Skincare does not have any formal prerequisites and is suitable for beginners in the field.
